Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I bought the red suit and gloves in Penneys last week. The blk shoes are from Dunnes and the red ones from Penneys. The stockings are from M&S and the fishnets from Dunnes. The blk satin skirt is from Penneys too.
I'm a guy who loves wearing women's clothes :P. The blk dress is from Penneys as well.
I'm thinking of going to Nimhneach in December but not sure what to wear. Either a girly outfit/dress or else a French Maid's outfit. Any ideas or suggestions welcome.

Cos Im sure its a Xmas special at Nimeanch i think it would be classy to dress as a glam sexy elegant woman show off your wow factor as a man dress as woman. Sexy Dress.
Please dont dress in fancy costume that sooo Halloween.
Thats just my view. Dont take it personal.
I like the black satin skirt with red jacket.

Thanks for the advice mylittlepony, maybe I will go for an ultra glam feminine look.
Maybe seamed stockings? I suppose I should really get my legs waxed so they're very smooth. I love the black satin skirt, it fits like a glove, but maybe a prom dress would be cute too.

:O That's nearly identical suit to one I saw in a magazine that was like 600 sterling. Thank you!! *runs to Pennys*

Thanks for your comment sillymoo although I'm a bit paranoid about my legs lol.
The suit was a bit cheaper than £600! Think about €45 or so.

The black dress is fab. A pair of black shoe boots would look cute too.

You have good legs. I love M&S 'silky 40 denier' tights. The fit is excellent, and you get sexy legs but bit more coverage than say fish nets.

I would not go for seamed stockings unless you are going to go for all out 40's look a la Dita von Teese.:)

Personally, I'd go black shoes, stockings and dress, and then glam it up with some nice jewelry, maybe a faux fur shrug? But then i am into my very retro glamour. :D
Love the red shoes, was eyeing them up at the weekend, but my feet aren't wide enough to fit them it would seem... :(

Glamming it up is the only way to go for Christmas. The prom dress is more of a summer thing. Elegiance and bearing is always so much better then 'loud and in yer face'.
Old fashioned me thinks that 'Classic' is always more attractive then 'Loud' :)

Thanks for all your replies. So should I go for a dress or a skirt then...
Would an ivory coloured satin blouse go well with the black satin skirt? My arms aren't completely smooth so ideally I'd cover them, either with sleeves or long gloves. Hmmm decisions decisions!

I would go for a contrast in texture for the long sleeved blouse. Maybe a black lace long sleeve blouse/top with satin cami in say a pewter or even bronze shade underneath.

Opera gloves would be hot alright, where would I get a not too expensive pair, satin, velvet or leather?
Thanks for the suggestion of a lace blouse, has anoyne seen one around, sounds great too.
You're really giving me some outfit ideas :)

Arnotts have fantastic black fully fashioned stockings with a purple sole/heel point/seam by Johnathan Aston. Or at least they did. They were a tenner. that's what I wore to my 1s Nimhneach. Shaved the legs the night before; felt really sexy!:D

Not sure where this thread is going... is there no forum for trans men on boards?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,637 ✭✭✭✭OldGoat

I assumed that trans men (or anybody else) could post on every forum. :)
