Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi, Has any done the Fashion Buying and Merchandising course in the Portobello Institute??

    If so did it help you get into buying or merchandising?

    i dont know anyone who did that course but i know a few girls who did the one in crumlin cfe.
    it is a very good course and you can go far from it but none of the girls i know who did it recently have gotten jobs since finishing it but thats because of the recession! however anyone i know who did it a few years ago have done really well.

    merchandising is generally easier to get into, as you can be trained in work and work your way up. buying is a lot harder and you would need a lot of experience to get in to it.
