    Hi
Im thinking of joining Bishopstown hill walking club but I am just wondering does anybody know if its a good club to join for a first time hillwalker and what age group are joined. I'm in my mid 20's.
Any info re the club or the walks would be great.
    Cheers

I've bumped into them before. They seemed to me to be mostly aged around 50ish. Seemed like a fairly fit crowd.

Dunno a helluva lot more. Sure, you could always give them a go and see for yerself, I guess.

It might be good to join the club for those 50s, you could pick up alot of good ideas and lessons off them.
(i'm not saying PM me, just saying i have my reservations about that club)

Not back seat modding but you've been here long enough to know better.

from the sticks on rules etc

"f you find old threads which are relevant, the general rule is that you may post in such threads. However, please note that moderators have full discretion to close old threads if they deem it appropriate to do so, or if the old threads or the new responses to them are no longer relevant."

anyway my issue has been resolved by mod (thanks Pat)
