The relationship between Philosophy and Science

I've to write an essay on the relationship between Philosophy and Science. (DBS part time degree in Psychology)

We've been told to reference one of our recommended readings. So basically "What does it all mean?" by Thomas Nagel, but of course I can't get my hands on the book as they're all out of the library.

So does anyone have any pointers on how to get started on the essay in the meantime? I should be able to get my hands on a copy of Nagel by the end of this week but the essay is due tomorrow week!

And there's no need to point out that I've left it pretty late to make a start :)
