    Friday's no good for me . . . Hows about Sunday afternoon/evening?

Can we get a few definite attendees? the 18-24 year old beers bombed and sank like a stone,(Har Har oops!)

I really want to meet some folks from Boards as I think it would be fun but I don't want to go to the trouble of going out in town if people aren't being serious.

PM me your ideas/promises of attendance :pac:

Then we can get a poll or summat going

any of the list would be fine with me, along with tom collins.

This friday and sat are no good for me either, got a wedding to attend, sunday night might be manageable though..

Following on from the roaring success of the 18-24 meet up, you could arrange to have it in the phone box on william street.

You didn't go to that one, you prob won't come to this one, so does it matter where we have it?

    Merry Christmas!

Shall we say after 8 in Mickey's? Whoever can come, do. If it turns out to be just a small crowd that's not so bad!

Folks any sign of this happening? Am getting anxious that I'll be outside of the defined age bracket for this cause am going to be 36 on Tuesday, 12 March, 2015.

P.S. Anyone know if Billy is going? He's been shadowing me infracting and deleting any of my posts which happen to contain, ahm, well text....

God knows what would happen if we met - I've a mental image of him handing me dozen of little infraction icons he's has busily printed off on his bedroom HP Inkjet Printer :p

hey guys, I don't know if I'll be able to make a pre Christmas meet.

However...have ye heard of this group?"New and not so new in Limerick"- Its part of the meetup.com group, it's just for people to well...meet up and do stuff as the name suggests!
I joined in November and have been to a few events, nice group of people I've met there too. It's free to join...have a look http://www.meetup.com/New-and-Not-so-New-in-Limerick-Meetup-Group/

Now I know mickeys is a small pub. How do we identify a boards meet? would i just look out for other confused looking people wondering what they are doing there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭mud

You should come along in a balaclava :pac:

    I'll arrive in a ladybird outfit :)

We should think of something, any other ideas?

I don't fancy sidling up to people and saying Boards? Accompanied by a raised eyebrow and a wry grin!

It will be easy. They post on internet forums so are one of two things:

    - Overweight nerds in star trek t-shirts
    or
    - Underweight pasty skinned nerds in star trek t-shirts

    There is a 3rd option

-These are ocassional forum posters who are incredbily cool and attractive, they exist to show the nerds the errors of their ways.

Unfortunately I won't be attending so you are left with the first two.
