waistcoat to accompany dark blue jeans and shirt?

hi all,
im looking at getting a nice waistcoat to accompany a pair of dark blue jeans and a shirt.. im looking to get something a bit smart and traditional, but havent a clue where to look in dublin ? possibly a type of grey tweed ?
any sugestions? thanks

Regardless, I'm not sure if grey is the best of colours if you're not wearing a suit. A good dark navy can work much better.

Oh dear. I've just been pointed to a selection of waistcoats on Topman. Yeah, no. If you're looking for smart and traditional, the waistcoat/jeans/shirt isn't really it. Go for a sports jacket I really don't like them. Then again, I'd see a Topman suit as being a bit of a joke.

If you're looking for the gentry look, you're not going to be wearing a waistcoat with jeans - That's for the Topman folk.

Get yourself a good sports jacket, either in a tweed or a dark blue.
