I am looking for ideas for a Christmas night out for 20ish people for a Friday night. We have a budget of €50 a head and we want it to stretch as far as possible. We want a meal and drinks, early bird is an option. Would prefer not to be part of a party night.

The Meyrick has a good offer of €38 for a 3 course sit down meal in the restaurant and 2 glasses of wine.

Anybody come across any other good offers like this that we could consider.

    Thanks in advance.

The tapas place on Dominick Street called Cava do excellent food, and for a large group tapas style would be perfect. Good place for a party of 20 you probably would have the whole place to yourselves, or maybe could arrange this with them. Good wine there too. €50 a head would go far in that place!

http://www.galwaybayonice.com/ ice skating might be a bit of craic too, but tell people to bring warm clothes and some decent gloves are essential for this.

Er....can't think of much more now.
