Ive read that washing beer glasses with soap leaves a film on the glass that ruins the beers head.

How can I remove this film from a beer glass which has been washed with detergent in a dishwasher? can I just rinse it out a few times?

I would rinse with boiling water and scrub the glass and then rinse with cold. Just never put your glass in the dishwasher to begin with.
