PM me if you're interested. This thurs and fri, the Mini club of Ireland (miniclub.ie) are doing a couple of runs from the various hospitals with sick kids to go see Santa in Fota. We'll have a police escort, a convoy full with sick kids and disney characters, and the Stig is going to be there too (Well, a distant cousin of the Stig!).

If you know anyone driving a new shaped MINI, or any style classic shaped Mini, please let them know. The more we get to help us, the more we can help the kids out.

I'm mini-less at the moment but as one of the event photographers/member of the kid's club I'll be looking forward to seeing/snapping you guys!

    Bump for a great cause.

Brilliant fun was had yesterday and today. Huge thanks to the Gardaí for the escort to see Santa, and to RedFM for putting on a great party with the kids afterwards. Classic to see so many of the Children's Club dressed up as Disney Characters - I don't think Disney themselves have costumes that professional!

You probably have done this but there is a place ( or was anyway) selling minis just off the Kinsale Roundabout - heading towards Wilton. Maybe they could let you use a display model for the night.

Yay, the event was awesome :)

Big thanks to the MCOI, their charity rep Sarah and the Stig for their massive turnout (again!) over the 3 runs. The two day event saw just over 250 vulnerable or sick children and their siblings attend Fota House for a special day with Santa. The guest list mainly comprised of kids attached to Cork University Hospital, South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital, Mercy University Hospital, Cork Deaf Association, St Gabriel's Unit, Enable Ireland Cork and Edel House.
