    Max this morning 42mph. Plenty of big dark shower clouds but no rain.

    Witnessed a huge flash of lightning around 3am last night driving back from Salthill and got home just in time to witness an epic hail and rain storm which dumped 3.2mm in the space of 5 mins. Another shower around 5.30am dumped 1.3mm in just one minute. Slept through that though :o

    We had a very loud Thunderstorm with torrential rain and hail at 7am this morning in Galway, got some fright as it woke me with the first clap it was so loud.

    Major hail storm moving through!!!:eek: Rain rate went straight up to 26.9mm/ph in less than a minute.. :eek:

    Edit: Stopped. 1.3mm total

    Cold rain this afternoon, temp down to 3.6°C, the mountaintops around here are all wearing white hats. Wish I was off work tomorrow to go for a drive!

    Currently -7C (feels like -17C with windchill), winds at 40-50mph and some light snow.

    Going to be warm tomorrow 26C and then moving up to a nice 29C by Sunday.

    This would be good weather except for the dam flies

    Fog hasn't lifted at all here today and it's getting worse now, 1.8c.

    When drizzle is heavy enough to register a rain rate, you know your in business! :p

    Current drizzle rate 1.5mm/ph. Wind from the ESE. 10 min mean 9 mph. gusting to 20mph.

    It did manage to get up to 26C and I got sunburnt at 10.00am this morning.
    Once we finished the job went into the sea for a quick dip before moving on to the next job....
    18C and its 23.18hrs

    Dry but sustained windspeed of 65km/h measured in Southwest today.

    It got a bit warmer today 30C

    Its 23.9C at 22.30hrs.

    It looks like getting cooler tomorrow at 27C.

    The sea was warm to day must check to see if I can get a temp reading for that.
    Kids spent most of the morning swimming.
