    While komplett.ie do offer competitive prices, be mindful that they're a small company shipping in products from Holland. Their customer service is a bit burdened, although they seem friendly enough...

    As for Amazon, expecting the Samsung P2270HD here from December 10th, hopefully it'll come with remote and all.

    It is wall-mountable, and can be hooked up to any sound system. The only possible problem could be if the digital tv tuner is unable to pick up the unique Irish mpeg-4 code?

    Got the P2470HD from PixMania.ie for a great price (though BeThrifty cashback hasn't shown up weeks later - anyone else have delays with PixMania cashback?). Both it and the P2270HD come with remotes and pickup Irish DTT.

    Primarily using it as a monitor, the Samsung multiscreen software is quite handy.

    Ok so, "aren't wall mountable..... with a standard wall mount bracket bought in most retailers". :)

    That is good to know that you can buy a specific bracket for these TV's tho! Good find thecivvie!

    AFAIK the P2x70HD series use standard VESA 100 mounts. The monitor-only and / or non-HD predecessors may be different.
