I'd like to make Moroccan Haricot Bean soup as per recipe here:

    http://www.cheapeats.ie/2009/11/06/recipes-moorish-moroccan-food/

    The recipe calls for:

500g dry white haricot or Cannellini beans, soaked overnight and drained

Problem is, I have to idea where one would procure such beans. The only beans I've ever seen in supermarkets are of the tinned variety, none of which seem to be what I'm after.

Supervalu have them in plastic bags, their own brand/range. Bought some haricot beans the other day, actually.

Shouldn't be too hard to find a tin of cannellini beans in a supermarket. This will save you all the hassle of soaking them overnight and cooking them. Just drain them and rinse them and you're ready to go.

You find them in the section with pulse and beans in little plastic bags.

Tesco have them in cans. A pretty good selection actually - all own brand.

Yeah you should be able to find them beside the baked beans
