I am looking for a Decent surround sound system compatible with a Phillips 42 in HD tv.

Just, whatever you do, do not buy it from Peats. They have the worst prices in town. €500 for that system is way overpriced IMO. Its available online for £299.

There's the Phillips HTS4600 system which is on sale in Harvey Norman + Power city for around €140
