Storage Heaters Insulated Cover

I find that storage heating has an inherent design flaw - it heats overnight at a cheaper rate, then releases the heat throughout the house, typically starting at 8am.. when there is nobody in the house! 10hrs of wasted energy! By the time I come home at 6pm-7pm, the heat has started to subside, and inevitably, late at night, I have to turn on the evening 'boost', which runs at day rates, for a few hours per evening, adding more cost.

I have a suggestion that covering the storage heaters with a total surround insulating cover in the morning when they have 'fully charged' (and the power has gone off) will limit the dissipated heat. Then when I arrive home at 6pm, I could take the cover off and have a cosy evening/night.

Should I patent this idea? :)
