I've come across another studio which I want to try out at some stage, bang smack in the middle of the city (about 50metres from the Spire), belonging to a guy called Mike Beckman. It's beside/attached to "Funland" (which I think is a touristy thing).

From his own blog post on folio;

The Studio has three different backgrounds. White, Black and Chroma Green. The Lights are 2x Bowens 500 and 1x Bowens 750. Softboxes 100x100 , 60x80 and 140x60, Umbrellas, iPod Music Station, Manfrotto 055pro with 229 Head, white bubble sofa and different chairs.
I will upload a photo from the studio to my profil.
For the first booking, i give a 50% discount, like a trial discount.
The standart rate is:
€25 per hour
€120 for 5 hours
€160 for 8 hours
Discount for multiple bookings.
10% Student Discount.

Conns have a Studio equiped with shiny new Elinchrom gear, which I think they rent out - give them a shout.

Conns studio is pretty small ( no offence to anyone associated with Conns ) but it is set up for 2/3 person photoshoot and/or product shots.... there was another studio recently announced (on boards) .... near terenure or crumlin or somewhere - or maybe I imagined it.
