The idea of aborting an unborn child makes me feel contempt for the modern liberal society we live in....even though I'm an atheist, I know its just an bunch of cells, it is often probably the best thing in the long run for all involved parties etc...

I can rationalise the idea of abortion if I think about it long enough and so would consider myself pro-coice but just using my gut instincts it seems to me like a horrible to do.

I think people on here take it too lightly with the attitude of, ah well, you're pregnant, just get an abortion.

I'm leaving boards/getting site banned in a public huff because it's, like changed/corporate*

*It's not like my buddy club any more and there are loads of people here now who didn't join in 1999 who are stubbornly resistant about kowtowing to my e-cock.

It's full of left wing, Commie, pinko, liberal pc'ers.

It's full of right wing, Nazi, Fascist, Neo Con Thatcher lovers.

Sometimes the poster needs to be attacked. Sometimes the poster needs to be brought down to Chinatown. Sometimes the poster needs to be called a ninny.

Our business teacher called a girl a ninny when we were in first year and made her cry! I love that word...

Bolloxed if I will take too much heed of crusty fcukers who never paid a red cent tax in their lives Piggser.

Call me a bag of shíet ,but you pays your money and you takes your chance.

Boards is generally inhabited by spotty lank haired students who think they know everything.

I would take no cogniscance of the opinions offered here.

When these gimps start paying taxes I might take some heed.

    Until then, piss off.

Attack the posts, not the posters

Eh, no it's not, or is it the posts that are "crusty fcukers" and "spotty lank haired students"?

If so I apologise, I've just never heard any of those words describing a post.

eh yes it is, I'm referring to Pighead who instigated my response.

I agree with the OP on David McSavage, don't really listen to Gerry Ryan that much so I can't say.

I disagree with the religion is evil and stupid attitude (mostly to be found in AH), and the supremacy complex that comes along with it.

People who earn a large wage from the public sector are greedy fatcats (with the exception of politicians).

    Mushy peas are savage.

Thanking en masse is frowned upon by mods.

The fact that people think this site is a democracy.

    It isn't.

All mods are fascists, haven't you heard? :D

The consensus that it's just not ok to be even a tiny bit politically correct.

Some people post some inordinate amount of shíte and pre-emptively justify it by saying "oh I know the PC brigade will be all over this one but I'm just telling it like it is." No. No you're not, you're just a small minded douche

I think Pat Kenny is the best presenter in RTÉ. With his TV and radio commitments, he is worth every cent of what he is paid

Yeah c'mon abelard. After Hours is all about honesty and transparency. Dish the dirt. Let the public throw tomatoes and shout names of abuse at this small minded douche type chap.

Or just "leaving Boards" full stop. It's a website - a huge, diverse one. Why would someone never post here again, other than to be hugely self absorbed?

Don't agree with that consensus either.

The country wouldn't function without the public sector and they're the last group who should be targeted in times of financial crisis.
If the likes of gardai, doctors, nurses and emergency forces stopped working, the whole country would go in to complete meltdown in a matter of minutes.

If the government want people to take the idea of making wage cuts, or cut backs, seriously, they should be leading by example and reducing their own wage packets and ridiculous spending.

    That all immigration is positive.

That certain demographics do more harm than good, and hide behind the idea of "culture".

That moderation is a large factor here, it shouldn't be. Also that all moderators act in the best interests of the forum at hand, and that they are subject to constant peer (and other) review.

I'll stop being serious now :p

I disagree with most of the anti-feminism stuff posted here, though I do read it for a laugh, as the vast majority of the time, the people complaining about ''da feminazis'' don't understand what feminism is outside of what they've been told by The Sun.

I also feel that sometimes, just sometimes, certain people really have to be told that it's not that their argument is illogical, but they are actually just complete morons for thinking a certain way... so I kinda disagree with ''attack the post, not the poster'', although i understand that the discussion would just become a slagging match if the rule weren't there.

I confused as to the general consensus on this thread.

When people thank a post on this thread. Are they thanking it because they also dissagree with the posted statement or because they agree with the posted statement .
