    The ammunition limit is one of the conditions the Super can set on your licence. As such it does not form part of the licence application itself and can only be appealed to the Super. Silencers are different as they are defined as firearms and subject to authorisation or licence. The ones that appear with an S on the licence appear to be a full licence as opposed to an authorisation.

    In short, No and No. It's allowed under the Act, so the Super has nothing to answer to the court for.

    So all they have to do is simply ignore applications and there is nothing we can do about it?

    No, you can appeal the refusal in the District Court, same as if you were told No the day you applied. You just can't appeal them keeping you waiting for three months.
