Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Decision Time - Evening Course.

    Howdy folks.

Well, as January is officially now only one month away, I need to choose which evening course I'm going to do. I've narrowed it down to either the beginners course in Digital Image Photography in Killester College of Further Education, or the Beginners Photography course in the IOP.

From what I have managed to find online, both courses have a lot to offer a complete novice like myself, and there seem to be plenty of happy customers for both. But before I make the final choice, I'd love to hear any feedback from anyone out there who have had specific experience with either of these courses (or indeed with the institutions themselves).

    Thanks in advance!

Edit: I forgot to say that course fees or distance needed to travel aren't concerns in either case. What would be a consideration though, is the availability to study further, and the recognition given to both institutions :)

    Hi

I would go with IOP every time. Daves courses are great. he simplifies everything to normal english and goes step by step. Enjoy

Yes I would agree with that. The courses are great and very informative and enjoyable. Check out the website, there is a free dusk city shoot coming up soon. http://www.iop.ie/freesessions/index.htm

I must admit, I was being swayed towards the IOP after reading a few independent testimonials. Thanks for the feedback folks :)
