Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Word doc and appendices - converting files

    Hi all,

I have a project in word format.

Part of this involves an appendice at the end. The appendice subjects (scanned declaration of consent forms) are PDFs. I have to submit a copy of the project electronically. The only way I can figure out at the moment to get the PDF versions into word is to save them a JPEGs. Is there an easier way? If I do have to saved the PDFs as JPEGS to insert them into the word doc, will it not become too large a file?

    Thanks

    Dellas

Does it need to be submitted as a .doc / .txt / .rtf?

If not, you could convert the docment itself into a .pdf and then just append the other .pdf pages onto the end of it.

Convert the word document to a PDF and merge the PDFs. You may need Acrobat Professional or similar.

Alternatively submit it as two documents if that is allowed.
