Sea The Stars' tremendous performances and successes this year - really came at a time when we needed a bit of a pick-me-up and good-news story!

Seeing one of my closest friend from Spain at my 21st, who I hadn't seen since our debs, three years before.
It was so nice she came over just for that! :)

-Irelands Grand Slam in the rugby, watched it at 2 in the morning here in Perth surrounded by a room full of drunk Irish people, reminded me of home

-I proposed to the most gorgeous girl in the world, and she said yes :D

-Seeing Fleetwood Mac, i thought id never get to see them, and it was just brilliant

-Kilkenny winning the All-Ireland once more, again i was surrounded by a room full of drunk Kilkenny people. What a game.

-Spending the best weekend of my life in Melbourne

    Graduating with a 1.1.
I got a job and I love it.

That's how boring my life is that the best things of 2009 are purely academic and career based.

It's what I'm wishing for when I graduate. Having a job I love is so important to me. Because it doesn't matter what else is going on in your life...if you hate your job it's very difficult to be happy.

    But anyway, congrats :)

2009 has been a great year, even though I'm still single and getting sick of it!!

    Highlights were:

    Grand Slam -

Going to Cardiff to watch the Six Nations final. We didn't have tickets for the game, so watched it on a giant screen in the Millennium stadium car park!! The atmosphere on the streets after Ireland won was unreal. Remember standing on top of a bus shelter with a load of other people (Irish AND Welsh) and we all roaring Fields of Athenry at the top of our lungs!!

    Electric Picnic -

Being right at the very front for 'The Wailers', dancing to Trenchtown Rock in the lashing rain. Surrounded by friends (old and new) at Basement Jaxx..... Bumping into loads of random people and chatting random bollox for hours on end;). The ceile that we wondered into in Body and Soul..... 200 people doing 'Shoe The Donkey' and 'The Siege of Ennis' in the middle of the afternoon. Madness, the band and the weekend in general.

    Indiependance Festival, Mitchelstown -

Even though it rained most of the weekend, so we spent a lot of time knacker drinking in a giant tent, I FINALLY got to see Ocean Colour Scene and Fight Like Apes live!! The mad fella with the SpongeBob Squarepants Guitar, and the 3am game of soccer, 50 a side, on a GAA pitch, with a shoe instead of a ball were also highlights:D

    Cork Pride -

Biggest Gay Pride ever in Cork. 3000 people marching down Grand Parade, rainbow flags everywhere, surrounded by friends. I finally had the courage this year to march myself, not caring who saw me. And the weather couldn't have been more fantastic. Finally proud to be a lesbian:p YaY me!!

Yep, 2009 was a great year!! Bring on 2010........

    The Grand Slam.

Qualifying to play in an All Ireland final.

Starting a County final after being a sub for most of the year and getting a goal and winning it.(This one stands out the most because if it had'nt been for an incredible stroke of luck I probably wouldn't have even gotten a game)
