Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi I am looking at screeds for first floor underfloor heating in a timberframe.

I have a geothermal quotation and they recommend 50mm of dry screed with pipes laid between battons nailed to the osb along the floor joists.

I would like to hear of any comments on firstly the thickness on upstairs and secondly the battons. I presume they will be installed at 12 or 16 inch spacing.

    thanks
    pjmcke
