Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As my Christmas treat to myself this year I am thinking of getting myself either a Wii or a DSi for Christmas.

I'm 25, (soon to be 26  yes big kid I know!!!) and I can't decide which one to get, the Wii has the added advantage of inviting friends over, have a few drinks and have a Wii party night, and the DS has the advantage of when I want to chillax ad wind-down I can have something to tip away at and have some alone time.

So thoughts, opinions, comments on which one I should get...?

If you have a lot of "portable time", i.e. bus journeys etc I'd say the ds would be a good idea. Otherwise the wii would be a better choice.

    +1 to what animaX says.

Second hand Wii with second hand DS lite (not i) would probably get you both for the same money!! Win Win.

Both have great games on, the DS can be a sociable system too, very often games will allow more than one DS to play (at least part of) a game when only one DS has the game Cart, Pictoimage a great laugh with 4 players, mario kart DS is great multiplayer too. And If you like RPGs then the DS is the choice.

I would go for the Wii if I had to choose.

Go the used wii, new ones cant play backup discs so may limit the amount of games you have access to.You will get a wii, extra remote/nunchuk and lots of games for less than a new standard package one.
