Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Thinking about getting a new lens
I'm using a full frame body, this is what I have at the moment:
    24-70L f/2.8 USM
    24-105L f/4 IS USM
    50mm F1.8 II
    120-400 f/4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM

Any ideas what I could get that would compliment what I already have?

    Thanks

What do you intend on using it for?

For all purpose lenses, you seem to be pretty sorted tbh. Ultra wide maybe?

My apologies, I should have said, I don't really have an intended use rather something I can use in various situations but that will also allow me to experiment a bit as well.

Maybe tilt-shift or Lens baby or maybe upgrade the 50mm to a 1.4

I'm really enjoying my 17-40 f4L on full frame - fantastic lens for the price.

i've pretty much the same lenses and added the 16-35mm f2.8 and a macro 100mm to it

both great lenses, depending on what you need

You've no wide angle on the list - I have some of the same lens' as you but also have a 10-22mm which I love. Great at parties and situations where you just can't fit everything into frame.

I think the 10-22mm is an EF-S lens, as far as I know it can't be used with my setup. Wide angle is an interesting one though, I'd love to try one out.

    fisheye maybe?
    canon 15mm/sigma 15mm/samyang 8mm(shaved)

you could sell the 24-70mm before the mk2 comes out soon, and use the cash towards an ef24mm f1.4L II sharp and very usable at f1.4

all you will be missing is a gap between 50-70mm focal lengths which isnt really a big deal, you will have awesome hand held low light shooting capabilities
