its a joke....1st the avatars, then the marketplace, now this, whats next?

I bet when I go home and check the friends list there will be few boardsies with pets now, there is no shortage of pirates (Yes, I know you look class), cog troops, and stromtroopers on my list, so people obviously don't mind shelling out for these things.

Nearly every one in the mob in 1 v 100 has paid for avatar gear too!

besides most of the best stuff can be unlocked for free by playing games...

Haha That is too far but there are alot of people who have no problem with wasting good points on them so i suppose if they are gonna make a good few quid

Avatar accessories would be a cool feature if we didnt have to pay for them but because we do its shameless money grabbing. I dont know why MS doesnt just use advertising as the revenue stream for these things i.e get McDonalds to sponsor some avatar clothes associated with A game. Surely it would make it more popular if they were free.

Either way i couldnt give two f*cks whether my avatar has a cat or a lightsaber its not like you use the avater that much anyway.

I never knew that Nintendo invented Avatar's, surely they copied someone else too? That's the way the world is.

MS only brought in Avatars as they knew it could bring in revenues with avatar games, on line marketplace and make it more appealing to different markets(chldren and women I assume).

So all you have to do is not fall for it and don't buy any avatar stuff.

Doesn't bother me as that's business and I don't spend anything on my avatar....although I'm sure he'd love a cat or dog!
