Justin smith had something similar in 2011 I think.

"When Leigh wanders into the room where her husband and his friends are watching a football game, her life changes forever, because at that exact moment, NFL’s one-man wrecking ball, Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots, scores a touchdown and does his patented “Gronk Spike”—his notorious monster smashing of a football. When the ball shoots into the stratosphere, Leigh’s heart goes apitter-patter and she becomes seriously turned on.

Now normally-sheepish Leigh can’t stop thinking about it. She’d never given a second thought to football, but now the primal power of the Gronk Spike, and this raw monster of a man, Rob Gronkowski, is all that she wants, and she’ll stop at nothing until the romance of a lifetime is hers!"

Reports that the Rams are heading back to LA.

Yeah Rams to LA would seem like a done deal The owner is building a new stadium in LA on a 60 acre lot he bought. Apparently it could be as early as 2016 that the team moves. Can't imagine a stadium being built in that space of time though.

So, will their fans in St. Louis still support them in 2015, or will they both cancel their season tickets?

doubt it i would imagine they will take it as a betrayal this team would want to start performing if there going to la thats one fickle fan base

Well I'm sure the rams fanbase weren't to chuffed when the LA Rams left the first time. It's madness that the three teams that are the most likely to move all have played in LA at one time.

I thought the Oceanside option for the Chargers made most sense, it would be an hour and a bit from LA, 45mns from SD, could rename it the LA Chargers, get their new stadium and keep the old fans somewhat happy. 45 mins drive is about what the "Dallas" Cowboys are from Dallas, "New York" Giants/Jets from NYC etc

Or just call them the California Chargers or whatever.

I wasn't sure where to put this one but said I'd fire it in here as even those who don't watch college ball may be interested:

"A Football Life: The 2006 Rose Bowl" airs in the early hours of Friday night our time and should be a cracking watch. Some notes from the documentary, taken from Sporting News:

Here is a link to a Football Life:Rose Bowl 2006 on youtube

They were the LA Rams when I started following Football back in the early Eighties. So for me, it only seems right that they return to their home city.

Bill Walsh nearly went to coach the Rams the year before he joined the 49ers. I wonder what difference that would have made in the long run...

A lot of teams don't want to be on Hard Knocks, the odd franchise or two might want it if the owner wants marketing and to raise the profile

Reported that the league will start forcing teams to do it

    To be exempt:
    Teams with first-year coaches
Teams that have made the playoffs the last two seasons
Teams that have been on the show the last 10 years.

The teams are could be picked are:
    Redskins
    Giants
    Vikings
    Bucs
    Rams
    Browns
    Texans
    Jaguars
    Titans

The Jags actually did it when Jack Del Rio was head coach back in 2004. Their 10 year exemption is up

I only watched one series (Bengals) and it definitely raised the profile of most of their players for me, knew more about the Bengals than the team I was a season ticket holder for at the time (Seahawks). Always had a soft spot for them since.

Surprised the Bears one isn't more profane.

The Dolphins one is pretty good.

I thought they already had started these rules, just that the falcons agreed, but they could have forced someone. Not sure why teams that have made the playoffs should be exempt?

The Redskins and their disfunctionality would be very interesting.
