As soon as Philips was out sick the D was terrible!

They have had terrible luck with injuries, but the chances are the Colts will hopefully be back to winning the division next year and for the foreseeable future so makes it difficult for them!

    Texans are Ravens Lite

Play very similar football and a lot of the same schemes

Ravens will be well prepared for all those stretch plays and Suggs and Jarrett Johnson to shut them down
Ravens are different class at home but shockingly inconsistent away from home, no way they lose on Sunday

Texans have been cursed with injuries, they'll lose on Sunday but sure, championship games appearances could be there for them in future years

I'd like to poach the Texans Oline coach ;)

The worst thing to happen to the Ravens would be to play Denver. A 0.500 team, Ravens struggled and lost against teams under 500 and did well against those over 500 now here is a team that is 500 dead on

That's very simplistic. The Ravens won all their home games but went 1-4 away outside of the AFC north. The Ravens would be perfectly suited to taking away Denver's deep ball, which is their entire passing game. The worst thing that could happen to the Ravens is playing the Patriots in NE, who are not in the AFC north.

You think with Andrew Luck as a rookie, they can win the division?

Texans are improving year on year, remember they lost Andre for a large chunk of the season....I dont see them beating the ravens this w/end but it could be closer than people think. They have seriously big weapons.

I think that if we could beat them by 15 with Schaub that we really shouldn't lose this weekend.

I think the Texans were the best team in the AFC this year, and feel very sorry for them that injuries, both on the field and sideline, have probably ruined their chances of making a superbowl.

Whats the deal with gamepass now? I'm not paying for the play-off games but I can't seem to access the regular season games, will it be like this all the time even when play-offs are over? Also when can I pay for 2012?

The regular season is one package. I had it and I guess so did you

They want over fifty euro for the playoffs. I'm going with streams and the Superbowl will be on TV. It's a bit much for three weekends of games

For the offseason it's one hundred and thirty euro

You can renew for next seasons gamepass around August, right before pre-season starts

The NFL sure knows how to extract money from fans

Cock. Thought I would have had a few months of being able to watch all the regular season games again.

Thought the same myself! I signed up for NFL network though, only 6.50 for 3 months at the moment.

Well first off Luck may not be the #1 pick!

Secondly, as of now Manning will be our starting QB...so yes he will/would beat the Texans!

Eh? Every report has Irsay almost surely picking Luck and indeed any other choice would make zero sense because if by some brainwave of sheer stupidity they'd want to trade down, there's very little doubt that their pick will be used on Luck.

This isn't something that should be over-thought; you don't look a gift horse in the mouth, take Luck and then figure out what you do with Manning in that context. It's the only thing that makes any sense.

There's been talk in the last week of RG3, and Irsay has said it is not something that is a fore gone conclusion, and that there is a huge amount of evaluation to be done!

Still think we'll take Luck, but there is the option for RG3 there!

    Colts fan in Boston?
    How did that happen? :)

Only here to work, keep it fairly quiet that I'm a Colts fan...def not the year to be saying it! :p

Luck has Manning's sort of football IQ and would slot into the general outline for the team that's been established (but obviously needs to be improved), whereas RG3 requires alot more tailoring to his dual-threat abilities. Irsay is paying lip service, I think the Colts have already decided they're drafting Luck and they've had him locked in barring a personal/performance disaster for quite some time.

Eric Mangini was on ESPN's 1st take today, he broke down the game winning touchdown by demaryius thomas on the telestrator and maybe his stint at the browns led to this little dig:

There isn't even a debate on this one - Luck is as close to Manning as you can get in every respect.

A lot of people seemed to blame him for the awful offense this year but he he wasn't as bad as most Jets fans made out.

He had a weird relationship with Rex where you always sense some sort of disconnect and tension between the two. Partly because he felt passed up on the job when Rex came up.

Eventually he had to be the fall guy for not getting the best out of a pretty mediocre QB who is on his last chance to prove himself in 2012.

Sparano seems like a decent hire seeing as Rex loved the ground and pound and wildcat offense.
Talk that Todd Haley is also being interviewed today and that him and Sparano could work as some kind of tandem. Will be interesting to see how it could plan out.

Either way we are going to find out if Schotty was really the problem or was it Sanchez all along.

Meh, wouldn't be too worried at the prospect of Sparano being their OC. For a guy that was an OL specialist he left Miami's O-Line in a complete mess (apart from Long and more recently Pouncey). Miami's running game also went hugely downhill after his second year in charge and he NEVER called offensive plays. Miami always had OC's who did the play calling in Henning and Dabol.

He will have inside info on the Dolphins, but thats about the only advantage the Jets will gain IMO. And the Fins aren't the ones they are trying to live with.
