If your coming from dublin take the exit dundalk south. Continue on the bypass past Xerox, then the crown plaza, past dunnes on your left, then pc world and xerox on the right. continue for about half a mile and then you will see signs for cdiscount.

sorry but no idea how to post a link for googlemaps. not even sure how to post the pricelist tomorrow:o

To whoever might be planning to go mid week I will suggest to call first and ask if what you are looking for is still available, I was there yesterday and the remaining stock was getting smaller very quickly.

I was looking for a BluRay player but they were all gone, nevertheless I got for myself a Kodak ZX-1 for 69€ (at Amazon.co.uk can be found for 79 sterlings) and the missus got a pair of shoes for 10€. I was very tempted to get a TV but the commander in chief (AKA wife) said no :-(

    BTW, thanks OP

    Not anymore.

Perhaps my google maps link could be added to the OP to save people trawling through the thread for directions.

Any decent iPod docks in the sale?

I called in this mornign for the price list and they were in the process of restocking after the weekend. Said the warehouse was full of stuff to come down and that the sale would be running up until Xmas at least. Pricelist won't be available until later today.

Some of the Pc's are refurb so technically not brand new. It would be worth asking about warranty and stuff.

I spotted a Garmin Zumo 555 for €349 with European Maps

and a Tom Tom Rider V2 €299 with UK & Ireland Maps.

The Garmin is £379 and the Tom Tom £299 on Amazon.co.uk.

I was there yesterday around lunch time - they had Toshiba 1 TB external hdd's for €69 (just two left) and iQon 1.5TB for €99 (load of these) - about 20 quids cheaper than elsewhere, but not a massive bargain.

Did anyone spot any Nespresso coffee machines in the sale? Am on the look out for one, would only go if it was worth the trip up from Galway though.
    thanks.

I didnt spot any when I was there. Others may be able to correct me.

Online, Amazon are shipping some nespresso machine these days.

Definately some coffee machines there today. Not sure whether it was Nespresso or Tassismo.

I'd check 11811 and see if they have a number for them.

    thanks.

Go to Home & Cook in Kildare Village and you'll get nepresso machines heavily discounted.

Prices are from about €120. www.kildarevillage.com

And even though the coffee is expensive, it bloody good.

I haven't been in there for 2 weeks or so now so not sure what's left. Best bet is to ring them !

It's open every day, it moved from where the original location was to a retail park off the Coes Road (just follow the innner relief road and you'll see the banner at the entrance on the left hand side)

I popped in today. They have a good selection of flat screen TV's now compared to the 3 or 4 last time. In AV they also have a couple of terestial receivers and dvd players.

In the middle of the floor there's some fitness equipment and workout machines.
There's also a shelf of various bottles of wines.

They have some men's and womens clothing, footwear and watches.

Still have a decent selection of laptops and GPS units. I've personally been keeping an eye on the Garmin Zumo 555 & Tom Tom Rider motorbike satnavs. Even though they have stuck a sale price on both of these, their sale price is still the same as when they opened so beware. !

How is this thread still open, when onemanband clearly has a vested interest, and has already had a few threads removed promoting CDiscount?

This could be a job for our new super moderator Davy!

I got good prices from here during their post christmas sale but prices on their sat navs and cameras have increased by a lot since then 209 up to 250, 250 up to 450 respectively

Just wondering how others got on with the items they purchased @CDiscount.

I bought a TomTom 520GO SAT NAV for €119 same item was priced @ over £200 up North.

It worked for a few days and it then it went haywire on me, I brought it back and I got another one no problem but it too worked for a couple of day and the same problem started with it.

In short, the screen started to change from one thing to another of it's own occord.

I ended up having to send it to TomTom in Holland on two occasions to get the problem rectified ie. they had to replace the 4:3" touch screen.

    No problems since, touch wood.

I also found that the 30 day map update that came free with the sat nav was out of date on the model I purchased and I was just wondering if anyone else has had any similar experiences to mine.

No issue with you bumping the thread but can a mod please edit the title to say expired? I was half planning my trip to Dundalk before I noticed the dates! :P
