The easiest way to make a curry is to use the McDougalls powder mix (red & White Box)you can buy in Tesco and make it according to the instructions on the package. About two dessert spoons should do one person. Along with that get Uncle Bens easy cook rice and follow the instructions on the box, fry some chopped onion, until cooked through, not burned, remove from the pan and chop a chicken breast into about 12-15 pieces, fry until FULLY cooked through, return the onion to the pan, low heat, pour the cooked sauce over the mixture heat through for a couple of minutes. For boiled rice, put the rice on the plate and dish up the Chicken curry, top off with a glass of wine or better still a bottle of your favourite lager. It really is that simple, the secret is to take your time preparing it.
If you want fried rice it must be cooked on a clean pan so you can do this before you make the curry and then keep it warm or use a second frying pan. The rice you use should be boiled and allowed to cool completely, put some oil on the pan, not too hot, break an egg in a bowl and mix it up as with an omelette, fry the egg stirring it all the time, when it dries out pour the rice into the egg mixture and fry for a few minutes mixing all the time, do NOT have the pan too hot, I like to add a few teaspoons of Soy Sauce as it gives the rice a darkish colour, but thats your choice.
