    Heya Folks,

    The Today FM Last Word team have been in touch to invite applications to join their Outside Broadcast on Thursday, the day after Budget Day.

    It will be in the Alexander Hotel, Dublin 2 (just off Merrion Square) from 3.45pm to 7pm.
    Do you want to know what Budget 2010 will mean to you and yours? Then stay tuned to The Last Word – not only will we be bringing you our usual top class analysis of the budget on the day itself, we will also be spending the next day going through what it means for our listeners….

    Come and join us in the Alexander Hotel, Dublin on December 10th to tell us what you think – and to hear how Budget 2010 will affect you?

    We are looking for audience members to come along and join us in the Alexander Hotel, Dublin to take part in the programme.

    A few of us will probably be heading along - laptops in tow - so if you would like to join us, please do. You'll find all details on how to apply here. I'm waiting to find out if they'll give us a Boards.ie allocation :)

    Nor will I unfortunately. Hey, I have an idea, if we were to 'decentralise' the various government departments then we could have a better chance of making it to such events ... oh ... :( nevermind.

    On an aside, can we look at getting an auld predictions competition going, open a thread for a finite amount of time, one post per member only - give the forcasts on a number of different headings and see who gets the closest overall?

    May enocurage people to read up a bit on the commentaries in the various areas?
