Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hard drive problem

Got this 500gb Freecom hard drive that has suddenly decided to give up on me. Computer goes all funny when I plug it in and of course, returns to normality when it's not connected. I don't care about losing the data on it but I could do without it going tits up completely. When it's plugged in I can hear the drive going but it's not showing up.

    Any ideas?

I'm sure you already have, but try other usb ports, especially the ones on yoru motherboard at the back of the pc. Also when connected, Right click "My computer" > Manage > Disk management and see if it is coming up there.
