    Hey,

1st year Arts here and was wondering if anyone knows anything about the below:

So, lets say a module is broken up into 3 in-semester tests/projects (worth 50% collectively) and the final exam proper equals 50%, does that still mean you would have to pass the final 2hr exam or is passing the year based solely on your average of all results within the module?

What happens if I get for eg 30% in the final exam yet still pass based on the module average?

(Apols in advance if this is a 'stoopid' question but I can't find any info on this anywhere...)

    Cheers peops :D

Generally speaking its 40%+ regardless of how its obtained. Some modules specify that you must pass the Final exam in order to pass the module regardless of your overall percentage. Best way to be 100% sure is to e-mail your TA.
