peach of a strike, i'd be annoyed if i was a hammers fan, no fight at all from them. Not complaining though. Thought Carricks looked happy out at CB so far. Think Valencia is playing really well, looking to drive forward al lthe time. As for Giggs and Scholes, i really will be sad when they are no longer playing. An absolute joy to watch. Watching Giggs make fun of Spector everytime he's about to cross brings a smile to my face, left foot, no right foot, no back to left ah sure i'll just cross it on my right.

Oh and peach of a strike from Scholes. Followed by one of my fav chants. Paul Scholes - he scores goals...

The thing is our main scoring threat in Cole is injured and Franco doesn't look his best without him on the pitch. Even Upson who has got a good few headers from set pieces this season is out as well. Think our only chance is for Diamanti to come on and hope to get a free near the edge of the box.
I'd be pleasantly surprised if we got something out of this now.

Edit: Why the hell dodn't Zola take Hines off when he was obviously injured?? Thats probably cost us a goal now as we were pretty much down to 10 men. When you throw Kovac in there we were basically down to 9 :rolleyes:

I'd bring on De Laet for Gibbo, and then move carrick into midfield, and move Ando up further forward. I think we really need a second as I don't have too much faith in us not conceding given our sellotaped together at the last minute defence.

Kovac is really quite poor.
His passing has been atrocious ever since he's came here. Just tried unsuccessfully to pass to Parker who was standing probably 2 yards away.

Have to admire his confidence to keep trying, he hit the corner flag with a terrible shot in the first half but he keeps going and has faith in his ability to stike the ball. Fair play to him.

God we are so poor. Injuries aside there has been no desire at all to have a go at United even though they were there for the taking. Compare this game to the same fixture last year when we put in one of our best performances and only got beaten by a lucky Giggs strike. What a difference a year makes
