Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Campsites for the Christmas break.

    Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a campsite that would be open over the Christmas period - well the week after Christmas anyway.

We live in Meath and would prefer not travel much more that about 2 hours. This would rule out the extremes of DonegaL and Kerry. Last Christmas we had a relaxing few days in Kilbroney Forest Park near Rostrevor. We have also enjoyed the pleasures of Battlebridge.

I am sure there are at least a few other sites that are open so any suggestions would be very welcome.

    Dave

Glen of Aherlow, clean well run campsite, beautiful area, great local walks, pub/hotel next door and well within 2 hours of you.
