Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iTunes problem

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum...

Had a bad virus on the computer recently which wiped the software and as frustrating as it is to lose absolutely everything I had saved over the last 3 years, my biggest concern is the music I've downloaded off iTunes. I have an e-mail account with iTunes which is what I used to buy all of the music and I also have this music on my ipod.. is there any way that I can transfer the music onto the computer from the ipod or even from the email account that I have set up that I used to buy the music?

apologies for the incoherence.. I'm a bit distraught :(

If you can make out what I'm trying to ask then please, any advice would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

email itunes about it. You should be able to transfer them back off your ipod but afaik it doesn't cost anything extra to download them again if you already paid for them on your account. I don't use itunes so better email them and ask

There are a load of free apps that will just let you make a dump of everything on your iPod, as per jackncoke's recommendation above :)

    Connect the iPod.
File > Transfer Purchases From [iPod Name]

Thanks for all the help :)

everything's basically alright now. I didn't download anything onto the computer itself mainly because it was downloading something that caused the problem in the first place.. won't be doin that again!, I just followed what this kind lady had to say:
