Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Internet Access Problem

    Hey,

My girlfriend has a Sony Vaio running on Windows 7. Initially when she got it she had no problem connecting to and browsing on my wireless network.

When she tried today though it said that it was connected to the network but that there was "No internet access".

What could be the reason for this? My laptop (running vista) is working fine and I've no problem browsing etc.

She recently bought a wireless router in Peates as her broadband at home was only wired. Could it be something to do with that, like something to do with settings?

Neither of us are internet savvy so idiot proof instructions etc would be most helpful.

    Thanks

    Ciarán

Double click on the network icon in the system tray (bottom-right of the screen) and click on Properties. Then, go to the Wireless Networks tab and make sure that the Use Windows to configure my wierless network settings checkbox is checked. Then restart and see what happens. It could just be an issue with some minor settings that Windows could configure itself.
