Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The central London Council is to tackle reckless cyclists that break the rules of the road, IE jumping lights, riding on pavements and ignoring “one-way” They reckon one in five cyclists are rogue.

I don't know how they could enforce this as Cyclists are not obliged to carry ID unless they confiscate the bike in lieu of payment. Could we do with this task force in Dublin?, it would bring in a huge revenue to the exchequer. :D

We dont have to carry ID but Irish Rail can still issue fines (as with many other people)

For it to work we would need some organisation set up entirely to "police" the rules of the road. I don't believe we have such an organisation here.

You can only fool IR once too often and faces get familiar. I knew a guy that thought he was smart by giving a false address, they followed it up to a derelict building. He got pulled in the next time. With CCTV on transit systems they would have footage of regular culprits which they could pass on to the cops.

The picture in the article shows a bus hugging the kerb.
