Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HI All

ive had windows based computers all my life and usually use norton for antivirus, however this year i bought a macbook pro for dj'ing and music production

i use the pc for downloading music and general web use

the mac is only used for dj'ing and music production, its internet use will only be for upgrading software

First of all sort that sig. its a nightmare.

No you can't buy an anti-virus that does both Mac and PC, you might get one that has versions that will cover the two archictures but they will be seperate purchases

http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/kaspersky-anti-virus-for-mac is one I found

TBH there's very little need for AV on a Mac - there just aren't that many viruses that exploit OSX in the wild - and even less so if you're not on the net with it.

Get something decent for your PC alright, AVG / Kaspersky etc

I've ran a Mac at home for years along with my PC, without EVER installing AV software, and am on the 'net constantly, and honestly, I've never even been infected with malware.

I think http://housecall.trendmicro.com/au/ (online scan) will work with Mac.
Or try http://www.geckoandfly.com/2009/03/12/download-free-anti-spyware-and-anti-virus-software-for-apple-imac-os-x/ and, or ask in the Mac forum.

I think I seen a version of norton that gave you a license for both a windows machine and a mac machine. I could be wrong though.
