Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pentax K100D Super Battery Problems

    Hey Folks,

I've been using rechargable batteries in my K100D Super since the day I bought it. Just recently it seems to be giving me some trouble. I'll charge the batteries up (2700mAh AA jobbies) and get to shoot some photos with it but then the camera tells me that the batteries are dead.

Just now I put in a different set of fully charged batteries and it tells me they are flat despite other equipment telling me they are fully charged. Has anyone experienced this problem? Is the camera fecked, would a service help with this unusual problem?

Help. I'm really really hoping my camera isn't borked. :(

Hmnn googling the problem seems to be mentioning that the camera reads the voltages of the batteries incorrectly but I can't figure out why this is happening now and not from day one. Other folk also mention that they've cleaned the battery contacts but from reading it seems to be a hit and miss affair.

I would have guessed the battery contacts might need cleaning
