Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need to decide on concrete vs fibreglass bio-cycle unit. Anyone experiences/comments on either option? Bones of 1k euro in the cost difference I'm told!

Septic Tank not an option due to planning :/

Ask how long they're structurally guarenteed for... I found the fiberglass ones were only for 20 years, this steered us towards concrete...

Quite a few of the glassfibre tanks need a level concrete base to rest on and need to be surrounded in gravel or a dry light concrete mix to protect them thus negating the price difference.

The chemicles present in a fresh concrete tank kill off bacteria until the tank goes off which is about 2 years.

The specific ground conditions, watertable level, rock surface level, the vulnerability rating of the local aquifier and the requirement for the purity of outflow all play a part in the determination of the appropriate system for your site.

If there has been a site characterisation report carried out for your site a site specific system should have been recommended, if not, why not speak to a bonded site characherisation assesor, you local authority should have a list.
