Anybody know where I can get some tinned chestnuts? I know the English Market do the fresh ones but it's tinned I'd like to get. I have yet to find them in the Cork City area.

    M & S maybe?

I'd ask some of the traders like Mr Bell or IAGO in the English Market
if they could source you some.

Its the kinda thing Epicure do and Supervalue stock Epicure, so your local
store might be able to source you some.

Failing that, I'd order on-line. Theres bound to be a business in Ireland or the UK that would supply you.

    My ten cents worth :)

Tesco Mahon had them about 3 months back in the specialist food section

I had a look in M&S Cork city a while ago and didnt notice any but will try again. I've had a look in Tesco Mahon too but didn't see any although I did't ask so will try there again as well. My partner is going back to England soon for a visit, I'll get him to stock up there and bring some back. I know Tesco in the UK sell them, Merchant Gourmet brand. Thanks for the feedback.

I've bought the Merchant Gourmet ones in Tesco here. Paul Street, I think. Not all of the tescos stock all of the same things all at the same time though. And it was months ago that I last bought them anyway!

I often buy them in Tesco in Paul Street. They are normally in the specialist food section in a brown and white tin.
