philips tv pfl8404 net tv problem

Hi all, just wondering does anyone else get the problem I'm getting, when I connect to the net tv service. It just says on the tv (philips sever not found) tv is 3 days old the first day I set it up it worked. The tv says I have the network setup ok.
Any help would be great. Thanks

My advice would to be update the TV to the latest firmware found on the Philips web site. www.p4c.philips.com and enter in your model number.

I have the very same issue with a 4 day old 37PFL8404 - connected to net tv 3 nights ago (after upgrade to latest firmware Q5481-0.26.66.0 dated 31/10/09)) and never able to connect since, it just gets stuck on "connecting..." I get "philips server not available" the odd time. The website quoted above seems to be up and down like a yo-yo - I wonder could this be linked with the issues we're having....is anyone actually able to connect to net tv at the moment? I am getting very frustated with this...

Just to let you know - went home for lunch and all of a sudden net tv worked - allbeit a bit slow, and buggy, but it went in first time! I presume there must have been something wrong with the Philips server...

Havng very same problem here bud! Worked fine a few days ago and I ran the update this evening and now getting that message ahoy no Philips server. Hope it's only temporary.

Hi all in a way lads im glad there is other reports of the same problem. dont mean that in a bad way. Now i know it is not just my tv. i was on to the people in the philips store near dame st. they are looking in to it for me. I sent some photos to them so they know what we are seen on our screens.

I don't feel alone anymore - Please let us know if you get any answer - my opinion is that it has something to do with their server(s) not being able to take the load, but maybe I'm wrong. In any case let's hope they fix it asap...
