Have you checked your line stats to see if they have deteriorated?

Have you posted in the Smart forum and asked them there to look at your line?

    Here are my line stats
    Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 832 / 6,375

    Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 25.0 / 48.5
    SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 9.0 / 9.0

Your getting 6mb+ and 800 upload

Your Att is high and your sn is low should be the other way around for example I have 16 Att and 26 SN. I have a 7mb connection.

If only i had the option for the smart llu.
Try disconnecting all telephone wires except the modem. Like sky, house alarm telephone...
Then wait 10 - 30 minutes and check your connection again.
If its not improved try connecting directly to the line without your adsl filter.

I too have noticed a considerable downgrading in the service in particular over the last 4 weeks. My average ping time is now 85ms - which is not good compared to the 40ish ms ping times attained previously. I contacted SMART about this by phone and email. They said they will look into the issue. I'm not overly confident of a successful resolution

Odd ? Yes, but in a good way i suppose.

Changed to a wireless router last week but still connect using an ethernet cable and have found my speeds have gotten better, but, not sure what is the main factor for this.

    6mb connection.
