both great for when youre interested in the technical aspects after just begining photography, tho once you get experience with extreme wide angle, wide, normal, telephoto etc you dont really need the field of view tool as you can visualise it in your mind/thru your eyes

also you get a good understanding/memory of depth of field values for diff focal lengths+aperture values after a while


also, the lens field of tool is really an eye opener as to what you lose with a cropped sensor
