Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi,

Does anyone have any recomendations for things to do in New York for new years eve please?

Having looked on the reviews on the net I'm not really keen on the whole standing in a cage on times square for 10 hours to wait for the ball to drop, apparently it's quite crowded and restricted also.

Anyway, i'll be there with my gf (both mid twenties), we're thinking about going on one of the cruises which cost about $160 each with dinner and free bar, other options are to pay into a club or pub which cost around the same for general admission with finger food - also sounds like they'll be a bit crowded to be honest, I've visions of an american version of copper face jacks - don't think it's worth $160+ for that??

Anyone on here been over there at NY before? any suggestions welcome, thanks.
