Why Is The Irish Budget On Same Day as British Pre Budget!

    Why has the Irish Government decided to have their budget on the exact same day as the British Pre Budget? I thought Ireland was supposed to be a completely independent country?:confused:

    Well, everyone is doing budgets for 2010, so most will be released in December. There are only 21 working days in Dec, and you would never do it later than 18th, so that leaves 14 days.

    So, in short, it's a COINCIDENCE.

    ireland is but with open boarders ect communication between goverments is only sensible when dealing with big business and tax,

    LOL! Up until quite recently the Irish budget was in March like the UK budget, so Ireland is clearly geting more independent, not less.
