Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

as part of it I have to do a thesis
but i cant find a topic

the one that I was contemplating doing was
"an investigation into green IT/computing, implications and oppertunities through virtualization"

need help scoping it down more,
any help would be much greatful.
or if people have any other thesis ideas that arnt too difficult , it would be great
have to have the lit review submitted in mid january 2010 and time is ticking

after the search and review (lit review) of articles out there , its after that that i need help scoping the above thesis with, like comming up with a finishing point of the thesis

    thanks

Computer Science is so broad I really don't think we can help much, particularly as we don't know the context of your course etc.

Best advice I can think of is to just pick your niche and make it work (with the help of your supervisor of course, she should be helping you narrow down the topic and develop a plan of action). A thesis is a very large body of work to have to do and you need to be able to completely immerse yourself in the topic, so it's best pick something you're interested in even if it means taking the more difficult route.
