Top of the range everything. Unfortunately in 3 months time most of the components wouldn't be top of the range anymore but thats technolgy for ya!
I'll post up my fantasy build shortly, might even throw in a gaming chair!

    M/B £333.99 - Asus P6T7 WS Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
    GPU £1679.96 - 3 x XFX ATI Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
    RAM £286.99 - Corsair 12GB (6X2GB) 1600MHz 8-8-8-24 Dominator with DHX+
    H/D £1379.96 - 4 x Intel X25-M Mainstream 160GB 2.5" (RAID 0 + 1)
    PSU £179.99 - Corsair HX 1000W ATX
FAN £61.99 - Noctua NH-U12P SE2 Dual Fan Quiet CPU Cooler
    CASE £369.99 - Lian Li TYR PC-X2000 Aluminium Full-Tower
    Monitor £4439.96 - 4 x Dell Ultrasharp 3008WFP 30" Widescreen LCD Monitor (Eyefinity ;))
    SubTotal - £9502.82

    Other stuff
Mouse £89.99 - Razer Mamba Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse
    Keyboard £129.98 - Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard
    PC Gaming Chair £92 - http://www.pyramat.com/pcgaming/pc-chair/
Speakers £249.99 - Logitech Z-5500 THX Certified 5.1 Speaker System
    SubTotal - £561.96

Total - £10,064.78 (€11,127.59) Everything priced from OC.UK except the gaming chair.

I'm suprised at the price, before I started I was expecting it to be more around the 20k mark. I probably could of put more extravagant stuff in there but I'd be fairly happy with this system as it is. Watercooling everything though would be ideal because I would imagine this would be one seriously noisy PC!

Eyefinity supports 6 monitors, so why stop at 4? :)

(Wonder what kind of framerate you would get on Crysis with that)

And why use the Dell 30"...the input lag is horrible on those...over 60ms which is nearly 3 times the amount of the previous model..

Just imagine how far back you would have to sit with 6 x 30" screens!

...and if the above cases all seem a bit too bling, well you could offset the snazzy looks with this little beauty that monitors (and grows) according to your CPU usage - ultimate external overclocking monitoring device ?

Of course you'd also want a holographic display to go with all of that, complete with sonic something or other that lets you "feel" the items on screen...

Still in it's very early days mind but give it a few years...

    I'll stop now :p
