Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aircoach to RDS

    Hi

Can anyone estimate how long it would take on a Sunday (this Sunday) to get the Aircoach from Dublin Airport to the RDS? According to the timetable I should allow 60 minutes, but I was hoping it might be a bit quicker on a Sunday. I'm cutting it fine if it takes an hour. It will be around lunchtime.

Would a taxi be much faster?

    Any help appreciated.

It should be quicker than an hour. You will have to wait for the bus, however, and that could take 15 minutes depending on when exactly you arrive at the stop. The fastest way is a taxi. If you go via the port tunnel (3 euros on a sunday) you could get there in as little as 25 minutes.

Thanks for the reply. Any idea roughly how much a taxi would be, I was seriously ripped off last time (and the time before that ) I was at the airport and don't want to risk it again?

Not really sure, but I'd say it is going to cost 40 euros, maybe more. Not cheap.

Crikey. €8 on the Aircoach - I'll chance it. Thanks again.

I occasionally get a taxi from the airport to somewhere a mile or two beyond the RDS and it's in the €30-€40 range alright. I wouldn't expect it to be more than €40 for that distance.
