    Hi there!
I'm not really sure where to post this...am I in the right section? LOL! Anway yep I'm an anime and manga artist. I work on canvas usually with ink, or paper with copics...and some digital work. Anyway I'm wondering about up coming Conventions round the place... It would be great to be involved! I was involved with WA CAFE's Tokyo night in galway and it went down well :D. So was hoping to get more info about other anime or manga events and if its possible to showcase work there?? And of course just to enjoy the celebration of anime and manga in general :D

    thanks :D.

So with your big shiny degree are you working? Or do you sell your work? or what does a young artist be at these days? And do you do any other kind of arty images or exclusively manga?

Well ...unfortunately no job as of present. I had a few exhibitions last year. and my work was in a few papers and magazines this year. My work is pretty much manga based. I did a couple of other styled works in college but it just wasn't interesting for me. I'd love to do some manga drawing classes but I have no Idea how I'd go about it ._.
So what kind of print do you do? :)

hmm.. i suppose you could get word out on the internet or locally and see if there is any interest in it? then either have the classes at home or maybe rent a building or conference room once a week or something? unfortunately they don't teach business with these degrees :P Or even advertise in GMIT?

As for me i'm just basically trying to get to grips with all the different printing mumbo jumbo and techniques! I now know how to do lino, dry-point, mono printing and etching! Next year its wood block, screen printing and a lot of photography but the course is self driven so really I can do what I want! I Love colouring pencils and pen thou if only there was a degree in that :D So for now I print :) But i want to try and involve computers and the like into my work a bit, I hear we get taught animation in 3rd year, hurrah!

Yay I learned how to thank posts so your drawings deserve some thanking! :D

Wow, those are really impressive! I'm actually trying to think if I met you at the Tokyo Night with the Wa Cafe or if that was someone else...

Well, if you'd be at all interested, it'd be great if you would do some manga drawing classes through our Anime and Manga society in NUIG, though that would be a while from now. It'd be great to get someone with talent to do some, since us of the committee seem to be a bit lacking (as far as I know!).
