Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ink on Photograph

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a way to get ink off my photograph, it's only on the border but is quite noticeable.

I wrote the exposure time on the back of another photograph and when they were put together the ink must have transferred to the other one.

Anyone have any ideas what I could use to remove it without ruining the photographic paper?

Any help on the subject would be appreciated, I really like this picture

Could you scan the picture, fix the stain on a computer and reprint?

I can't, the photograph is for a college project and has to be done in a dark room.

    Which I don't have, unfortunately.

    Can you reprint it?

You could experiment with various solvents but using another photo that is not important.

Try using one of the wilkinson razor blades. The old stlye double blade type. If the paper is glossy it works like a dream

Could you trim down the border,

Practicing removal methods on another photo is a good idea
